Be a rock star just like Hannah Montana with this cool Washburn guitar from Disney. My daughter is 8 and she loves this guitar so much. The sound is great and the graphics make it very unique. Since it is designed for kids, it is quite nice and easy to hold as well. It is however slightly heavier than I thought, but my kid has no problem holding it.

If you compare it to a pro guitar, you will notice a few differences. The neck seems kind of unfinished if you ask me. Slightly disappointing since Disney always seems to over-deliver. However, this can be easily fixed by yourself. You can also plug it into a pro amp, just like a professional guitar and this thing sounds great. You would expect a cheap sound from a cheap guitar like this, but you would be wrong. This thing really rocks! You might think this is a toy guitar, but nothing can be further from the truth. It is as real as every playable guitar out there and you never know, maybe your kid will be the next big thing when playing this guitar.

For the price, you really can't beat it. I suppose the link to Hannah Montana might scare a few people who wouldn't normally be associated with her, but this thing is probably the best beginner guitar you can get in this price range. It doesn't come with an amp or a bag, but few guitars do. You can probably buy that quite cheap so it doesn't affect my view of this guitar

If your kid loves Hannah Montana and is interested in learning how to play guitar, I definitely recommend this guitar.
